I can't seem to help it.
Ugh, this chapter of Shrine Prostitute is killing me. Killing me I tell you! Or at least jabbing me in the spleen every so often just as a reminder.
I've written 25 pages but only the first scene is complete. The other 4 or so I've written are only partials, and what's worse, is I wanted to add a couple more scenes to the end so that the chapter wouldn't end in an awkward spot. Apparently not to happen though.
I'm a complete stickler for continuity. All my chapters to date are between 16-24 pages, so I average around 20. I refuse to post a chapter too far out of that range. It annoys me, but oh well.
And that is why this story continues to get firmly out of hand. I seem to be freakishly verbose, or have some form of verbal (or written) diarrhea so that what should be a short, straight-to-the-point scene ends up going on for 6+pages, as is happening currently. Oy vey.
