SO! I'm quite excited and chuffed because dundundun!

So. Day like any other. Get up, crawl out of bed, laptop and shower and actually had breakfast this morning! W00T! :D
English Lecture at 10 this morning, so I skipped along to that (not literally, not before noon). It was great! A continuation of yesterdays' awesome lecture on sonnets and stuff, and it even had a bit of Merliney goodness.
YES YOU HEARD RIGHT.
How was I supposed to keep a straight face when a sonnet suddenly includes:
A Sonnet is a coin: its face reveals The soul,--its converse, to what Power 'tis due
A Sonnet, Dante Gabriel Rossetti
But anyway - that wasn't the cause for my excitement.
Suddenly remembered as I came out of my lecture that I needed to check with the Porters about my Mum staying over. So I might as well check my mail at the same time.
There's a queue for the Porter, I'll check my mail first.
Open locker.
Sift through names.
See mine.
Grab.
Lock locker.
Check pigeon hole for internal mail, wondering what my letter is.
Stand in queue, opening letter.
See School crest.
Is excited and confused.
Pull out letter.
See top.

Please find the enclosed token to the value shown..."I was stood in this damn queue, and I was grinning SO HARD.
But then I was confused - why the hell have I won this?
But, best not to tempt fate, eh? £15 in book tokens is not to be sniffed at!
Even if I now have to figure out how to get to RGS for 1.30pm on a Friday.
And I have my English seminar at 2pm on a Friday, not to mention a Creative Writing lecture at 12pm. Damn.
But... I can't not go. ><
Train time = approx. 2, 2.1/2 hours. Lets go with the latter, for safety.
2.1/2 hours before 1.30 is 11am. So I'd need to miss the entire day. DAMN.
But it's rude not to go. And I do want to go back at some point (though I was going to try and go down for House Drama, which would not require me missing lectures and stuff, as it starts about 7).
MUST THINK.
But first, must go to my next seminar :D
I am actually quite happy about this :) Even if I don't seem to be. I just... think there are other people who deserve it more.
