it was a monster to read, i'll admit, but it was worth it! secondly, i thought it was such a good launchpad/precursor for the rest of their relationship, since from the beginning, it was always kris taking care of chanyeol from the sidelines, watching while his feelings slowly caught flame and stirred into a huge burning love for chanyeol LOL.

Chanyeol...after you realized were you just NEVER going to say anything? If you didn't slip how much longer would it have went on? To be honest both of you felt that way but never did anything...I bet you felt awful that you were going to hurt Baekhyun when you recognized that you only loved Yifan. Poor baby...but I'm pretty sure Baekhyun knew too.
Yay for Krisyeol...(Kris is #1 and Chanyeol is #2) and what a well plotted out story...I adore my dongsaeng Yifan so any good stories starring him (that aren't tragic because I'm not here for that) is something I'm happy to read.

In here, my take on him was that he was always standing on the sidelines, watching chanyeol and loving him (but never doing anything about it cuz he's an idiot in love lmao). And haha chanyeol needed more time to come to terms with his feelings. ahmmm i'm glad that you got my implication for his reason for hurting baekhyun (omg poor baekhyun urf).
I've seen this characterization in Band AUs because Kris is Duizhang and feels he must sacrifice his feelings for EXO yada yada yada...
Chanyeol was taking A LOT of time to come to terms...and then another month once he realized Kris felt the same...GET IT TOGETHER CHANYEOL!
Yeah his inability to express his thoughts to Kris after he admitted he couldn't say it back made it pretty clear...his finally knew his heart already belonged to Kris but he couldn't say it to him either.
i was not surprised when Yeol go out with Baek but with their bonds, they should just mate and be together blah blah... Yifan took more time that i predicted for him to finally realize just how much he needs his soulmate and the best thing to do is being together like really together..
teehee glad for your input on all three parts of this story! the layhan duo were fun to write. this was a kind of love story that took some time to happen :D (and chanyeol needed time to come to terms with his own feelings too /sigh)
damn this is so good,i'm about to cry when the angst part *my heart can't handle Yifan feel* thank god this happy ending,i mean they already bond to be together..so lovely!! i miss KrisYeol in real life btw :(
