So. Completely random urge to write Harry Potter fanfiction about Hermione on her first set of Summer Holidays after the first book. This must partially be a result of that discussion I had about the lack of "muggle" pop culture in the Harry Potter books. (No movies, no television, no pop music...) And also, somewhat related to my take on Sen to Chihiro fic - that is, what's it like for somebody to suddenly discover magic, and then have it taken away (even if only temporarily)? It could be interesting. *muses*
Also, in chat the other day rubyd declared 1 hour writing challenge, so I typed up the random original idea that had popped into my head while showering that day. It's here. Beware random unexplained pointless stuff.
