author's notes: this is written for blackpearlsails drabble challenge. i personally thought of jack's mother, anamaria, and elizabeth as i wrote this but immediately had to exclude elizabeth afterwards as will would definitely not leave her and her unborn alone to go on sea adventures. the other two though? great possibility! and i'm sleep deprived so concrit is MOST DEFINITELY welcome. you are also free to leave opinions on what poor women this probably is.
She was in pain. Her water had broken. She was alone.
Sinking down to her knees she cried out from the pain, the unbelievable pain.
"You must be calm," the mid-wife stated to her in French. She wanted nothing more than to take the mid-wife by her neck and snap it - snap it right along with the bloody father of this child. He'd known and he left her to be alone. Left her because he couldn't tear himself from the sea, the women, the danger...
Would she ever see him again?
