My brothers graduated from high school. And we'll see where the future takes them. It was an interesting bit of excitement and I gave them both big hugs to help send them on their way. Mostly, I just hung out with them and we shared some words and chilled. We played a lot of the Halo 3 beta.. which is actually quite fun. We'll see how it goes when it's actually out.

Anyway, now we're all down in Florida (minus one of 'em but Rayray's lady friend filled in the gap.) And what can I say about her save that she feels like.. well.. a sister. At first she was almost a complete stranger. I mean, I knew her.. but it's not like I really knew her. After a few days, though, just the way she talks and acts.. I don't know.. she became family to all of us. And now we all miss her, haha.

We did a lot of cool stuff while she was here. Or at least did lots of things. I shot my zombie bit for one and that went smoothly, relatively, and I was glad for their help. We went to several malls (woot, woot) and in one of them Rayray played some Pump It Up which was funny and I did a little Time Crisis 3 and Marvel vs Capcom 2. It was actually kinda fun. We've played some of the new Mario Party and that was entertaining.. and we went to the beach.

Oh man, the beach. It was exciting because, well, going to the beach (for me at least) always seems like you're just a kid again. I mean, I do the same thing since.. forever. I don't remember ever really enjoying playing in the sand.. or doing it for any real length of time for fun. It's always into the water.. and then, how can we stand up against the waves? Well, we stood up pretty well and we (including Keen, which was a surprise since there are very few girls I know that will brave the depths.. mostly 'cause of wardrobe issues) did lots of leaping and laughing and jumping. There was a sandbar a little farther out than I'd expect, but all these people were standing on it and after a little bit of hesitation and curiousity we ventured out and more fun ensued. Afterward, for we spent a good couple hours there, we hit up a little place called Johnny Rockets and lemme tell you this.. they had some phenomenal milkshakes. Afterward, our young sir Raymundo has been attempting to recreate the magic with milkshake after milkshake attempt. I can't say I'm complaining.

On Keen's last day here we went to Islands of Adventure. Which I haven't been to in years. Which I really enjoyed going to. Which I want to go to again right now. I should have just gotten my brothers year long passes because then we could go again right now and it wouldn't cost nothin'. Well, 'cept to eat. But, damn. I gotta say, since I went on the Hulk and Deuling Dragons and Jurassic Park the ride this time.. wow-e. Haha, lots of fun for all. The Deuling Dragons was intense, lemme tell you. These coasters come so close together it's ridiculous. We rode Fire first and we kicked the living baby right outta Ice so we didn't even see them. But when we rode Ice... o____o It got insane. We were chugging along, going fast but getting used to the turns and twists and loops.. and then we see Fire just like.. right on us all the sudden and we criss cross paths and Rayray, right in the middle of a sentence, sees this and just goes 'HOLY SHIT!' and for the rest of the ride we're not freaking out.. but it's definitely intense enough to get the adrenaline pumping. Loads of fun.

We went to Universal afterward and that was aiight. We rode the Mummy ride and that was actually lots of fun. Well, I kind of expected it to be fun. Raymond goes 'man, it was so hot in that one room.. what was that?' and I says unto him 'Rayray, did you not see the freaking flames on either side of us?' 'cause his sunburn was hurting in there and he was bitchin'. He laughed and said no. Anyway, it was enjoyable. We did Men in Black, too, and we at at some 50's resturant 'cause Mythos closed at 5 and Green Eggs and Ham also closed early so we backed outta that. On Men in Black, Danny used two guns since it was just four of us in a six person ride.

We saw Fantastic 4 when it came out at midnight and that was fun. We saw Taylor that night.. and again after Universal. It was just funny that we saw him before FF 2 because, well, I hadn't expected it and we saw a bike taxi (which turned out to be his) and I was like 'oh, I wonder if Taylor is working tonight' and that was him that came up so it was comical. And he worked the day we were at Universal so we found him and chatted for a bit. Anyway, Fantastic Four was okay.. the best bits were really people just yelling at the screen. But, funny-like. This one guy screamed 'suck it' after the Mr. Fantastic speech to the General in the forest and that was pretty good. Rayray said after that it was worth it to see just for that. Before the movie, I made two girls look at me and sort of chuckle when I was telling Keen (who hadn't seen any of the first one) 'okay, here's what you missed.. in the first one.. there were four people.. and they were fantastic.'

I forgot that we also hung out with Taylor at his little apartment complex.. and went swimming around a bit in the pool(s) and hot tub(s). We held laughter together and enjoyed company and mostly the swimming nonsense. Then we got lunch after buying a father's day present for Taytay's dad.

Danny has been buying up Transformers like nobody's business. I'll be honest, I've never been a big Transformers fan.. but Dan is so excited about it all and now he's getting me into it a bit. Starscream is probably one of the sweetest looking Decepticons.. and this movie, despite Bay's involvement, may actually be good. We'll see. I think it'll just be flashy and exciting because of it.

Anyway, I'm bored of writing so that's game. Oh, right, the 'Night Mother thing. Well, it went good and my teacher said I handled myself well. People were just randomly appearing and disappearing throughout the night which I thought was funny. Krizia called me and then so did James to get directions.. and I think Lorne did, too, but I forget. Anyway, everyone ended up showing up at some point.. and then they'd just start dropping off without me noticing. I'd look around and then there'd be like two people missing.. or five.. and soon it was just Josh, Denny, James and I along with our actors. Which was pretty cool since we worked fast and effectively. I had a good time and I think I learned a lot.. but most of it was just seeing and reinforcing how I work with Josh and how I direct. I picked up some new tricks and have more things to think about.. we'll see where we go from there.
