Recent updates
A post before this blog falls into a derelict again.
1. New Year Resolutions! I managed to pull myself together and been going to the gym regularly for the past month or so. Loving all the sweat and ache in muscles.
2. Japan trip coming soon! Can't wait for it. (I wrote a trip report here for my previous trip.)
3. Korean Basic 4 lessons just ended this week. Too few people for a new Intermediate class at the moment =( I hope someone signs up soon. Or else I might have to change school. I do love my Korean teacher. She has been very clear and handled questions very well. And a bonus point for mentioning that her favourite English book is Anne of Green Gables. I remembered that randomly picking the book off the shelves in the school library during secondary school. (I was a librarian then. The publisher was Puffin Classics.) And I fell in love with Anne, Gilbert, the Cuthberts, Ms Rachel, and the idea of "kindred spirits". I still believe in the idea of "kindred sprits".
4. Work has been alright. I like my colleagues, we can chat about anything from anime to Game of Thrones. Referring Daenerys' dragons as Charmanders (Pokemon) is the best thing I have heard in a while.
