A little late again, but

Happy Chinese New Year!

Haven't been out much except to a friend's house last night. Had an awesome dinner (sorta Taiwan/Hakka style) and a good chat with friends. :)

1. Been keeping to my resolutions well, except the exercise part. Work got very busy and I have been waking up with a sinus. Keep sniffling and sneezing in office in the mornings, and everything will be gone by 2pm. It hasn't been this bad since many many years ago, have to do something about it. Maybe the cause is the recent cold weather? I sleep on the floor and strong winds tend to blow into the room towards me.

2. Planning for a Japan trip in late May, woots! Hope to be able to attend some concerts, live events and areas that I have been eyeing for a while.

3. The past few seasons of anime has been pretty enjoyable. Watching Noragami, Hoozuki no Reitetsu and Gin no Saji season 2 this season. Last season was Monogatari Series Season 2, Nonnonbiyori and Kyoukai no Kanata. Kyoukai no Kanata was a disappointment. Awesome animation as expected from KyoAni, but the story and characterisation fell flat. Nonnonbiyori was a good slice-of-life anime, very relaxing and further affirms my desire to retire in a small farm. Monogatari Series Season 2, what to say, definitely my favourite anime of the year. (Oh yes, I'm still stuck at the first novel book.) I certainly didn't expect the story and characters to turn out the way they did. The anime also made me appreciate Hanazawa Kana and Mikishin a lot more. Hanazawa Kana's voice is still a meh for me (personal perference), but Nadeko couldn't have been Nadeko without her. MikiShin is a veteran and I do know that he is good, but I haven't got a chance to listen to his monologues. Kaiki had a lot of monologues this time, and boy, MikiShin SHONE.

4. Watched Sherlocked! The first English TV show I have watched since the Big Bang Theory a few years ago. Benedict Cumberpatch *__* I love the plots, very well-tied and little plot holes. (I hate movies like Inception. To me, the "rooms for imagination" are just plot holes and director's laziness. I like everything laid out and explained.) The production quality and performances of actors are top-notch too. Awesome awesome.
