Reason #247 why readers don't send fb: concern that they might look daft and/or offend the writer. I laughed till I cried is probably not the hoped-for reaction when someone thinks they've written a sensitive exploration of a young man coming to terms with his sexuality, or a Rilly Edgy darkfic, etc, and sometimes I'm left in doubt whether I've just read a brilliant light-hearted send-up of something, or if it's meant in complete earnest. At least with Troy last night I was fairly certain, despite my reactions, that it wasn't actually intended to be a comedy.

Am catching up on Angel, what with being a season and a half behind and realizing sooner or later someone will inadvertently spoil me.
I started where I left off and remembered why I'd stopped watching, mystical pregnancy soap opera intense low-spoken conversations augh, but then Jasmine manifested and I've been laughing my head off for two episodes straight. Is it true that people didn't like this? I think it's hilarious. Please don't tell me it's meant to be a rilly edgy darkfic.
