Orange is the new Black Season 2

LJ, is really not that frequented anymore, is it?

It is still my favorite site, but I am less on the internet in general and ever since I don't have to say that much about Buffy anymore, I don't manage to post much.

Anyway, I thought I'd post briefly about the second season of Orange, which I completely wolfed down on the long weekend. I love this show and I think the second season lives up to the first one, even if I thought it was quite different. It's less focused on Piper and more on the other inmates and the conflict between V and Red.

Maybe I'll first get the things out of the way that I did not like so much. In some ways the break between the first and the second season felt a bit to harsh for some characters. Yes Suzanne is weird, but her following V so blindly felt a bit contrived. Also the turn Tucky took felt quite fast.

But otherwise I really enjoyed the season. I especially loved the sisters, Pousseys and Rozas backstories. I'm really sorry for Kaputo and his likely very short reign of joy, but that finishing shot with Roza hitting the road was worth it.

I also liked Lorna's backstory giving a twist to the whole Christopher story. I was very glad though that she seemed to have recovered by the end of the season.

I wasn't so sure in the beginning of the season but the finale was pure gold. Alone for that guard that played the Banjolele (??) at the nuns, staging his own anticatholic protest at their protest.

Maybe I'll make it to an actual review later on. Hopefully.
Did anyone watch yet?
