Sherlock!!!!
Bwah, I forgot just how good this show is! I will never be able to watch the Hollywood version now, because the loud snickering will get me thrown out of the cinema.
This was absolutely the way to do Sherlock Holmes and make it perfect. The speed, the dialogue , I loved every little piece of it. And I was surprised how much I liked Irene Adler, this was by far the est version I have seen of her yet. Usually she is just the sexbomb that tricks Holmes. Her instead of changing the concept they simply amped it up to 300. This Irene does not go for sex dress, she goes for completely naked and it works lovely.
I loved the Blog titles pointing at other Holmes stories and also all the other little things they kept (like him calling her The Woman). I especially loved the unsolved case and how it became significant later.
The awkward scene when Irene and Sherlock sizzle all over poor John was so brilliantly played and they do their best to feed the slashers. That scene where John claims he is not gay and Irene says she is....just guuuhhh.
I think I might have to watch it again and again. Only bad thing is that last time the Moffat eps were so much better than the others and I fear it will be the same this season.
