201127 Sore, Snow Man ni Yarasete Kudasai [ English sub ] / Meguro Ren late birthday post
So.. This is kinda late. I subbed this one for Meguro's birthday. But i just finished subbing this yesterday 😅 This is one of the Paravi SoreSuno episodes that i enjoyed a lot.. The episode's project is pretty much what's in the GIF above. But i don't want to talk about that, I want to talk more about Meguro Ren who just turned 25 last Wednesday ~

Who would knew that the Meguro Ren that we all know now is the Meguro Ren who is not that really popular during his junior years !?!?
It was 2010 when i become a Hey! Say! JUMP stan, the same year when MeMe joined Johnny's. I watched all the Shounen Club episodes when JUMP were still the MCs! It's because of that, That I also become a fan of many Johnny's Juniors. I become familiar with most of them, I don't know all of them of course. But i can name most of them. Especially the popular ones.
I was not active in any fandom when Snow Man debuted on 2020. But i somehow found out that 3 new members joined Snow Man.. and among the 3 new members, the only one i am familiar the most is Koji! I don't know Raul at all! which is understandable because i stopped being active in Johnny's fandom when he joined Johnny's.. and with Meguro Ren -- I'm only familiar with his name!! I'm not familiar with his face at all. He was that unnoticeable before! He doesn't stand out.
There are many popular Johnny's juniors already before even without Johnny's Junior channel in Youtube.. and they appear in TV a lot. They guest in some variety shows, They have their own tv shows and they get to star in a drama. The only drama that Meguro had when he was still a junior is Onicchan Gacha (I didn't watch that one) with only a minor role there. I didn't even see him in some Johnny's juniors shows before such as Gamushara and Johnny's junior dex. In music shows like Music Station, Shounen Club and others.. I know he appeared there, But only as a back up dancer! In fact, The first time he appeared in the Jr. ni Q segment of Shounen Club was when Snow Man was about to debut!
That's why it is mind blowing for me how insanely popular he is now! and The most amazing thing about this is that even if he doesn't get that much exposure and opportunities before unlike the others.. He didn't gave up and still continued.. Even the popular one's before have quit Johnnys.
Now, He is a member of a million seller jpop group, He makes magazines sold out in an instant, He is recognized as one of the most handsome actor in Japan now, and he is not only popular there! He has lots of fans now all over the world too!!
and this is just the start, I know he can do more great things in the future.
I can't wait to be surprise again by this guy!
