Oresama Danshi are the male characters in manga and anime that describes as someone who think highly of themselves and can be aggressive but determined to get the girl that they like.
On a survey, 86% of teenage girls answered that they like Oresama Danshi.
and base on the research, the top 3 famous Oresama danshi characters in manga/anime are;
3. Kurosaki Haruto (Kurosaki-kun no iinari nante naranai)

If there's an oresama danshi among the R's Danshi... The one i can think of is Juri.. and probaly, Ken.. They are Oresama danshi in terms of level of self confidence.. and Ren and Jesse too. But those two always fool around so they can't really be the oresama danshi that the girls like. π

But are there really oresama type in real world? To know that, Arun (R no Housoku's mascot) searched for Oresama danshi around and he end up in a live concert where she found "fudanjuku"
could they be the ideal oresama danshi that Arun is looking for??? π€π€
Probably not... They aren't even real danshi.. But anyways..
they claim to be "chenmen".. which their own group's term for cross dressing. So yeah, they are an all female idol group who dressess like guys and does fan service like guys in host club does.
They interviewed some fans of fudanjuku to ask about fudanjuku's charm. All of them said that they know the best lines for their fans and since they are girls, they understand what their fan girls feelings.
Then, they also appeared in the studio
When they asked if they are the Oresama type, They said that they can be the ideal oresama because they are fine to act like one and they say oresama lines too. They also said that in reality, guys doesn't really say oresama line to a girl because they are embarrass and shy to do that but for them, since they are girls it's fine.

I really wish Juri was here in this episode. I remember the first time fudanjuku appeared in R no Housoku on 2013 and Juri was so pissed off and annoyed to the R's joshi π

I remember, There's another episode of R no Housoku where Fudanjuku appeared again and Jesse was making fun of them. He asked them if do they pose like that in their home and look in front of the mirror and pose like that. LOL. Jesse said he was not making fun of them and just asking question.. But.. π
Anyyway, After Kariyase-san, They asked Kauan to say the same line..
But the girls were not impressed and even called him "charai" (player) then i realized........

Regarding this, They interviewed a Psychologist, Dr. Tsukakoshi Tomoo about oresama danshi and she said that.....
"In real world, Oresama danshi like characters in manga doesn't exist...."

She also said that, in manga and anime world.. "kabedon" and "agokui" scenes can make the girls hurt flutter.. but in real life, if a guy does that it can be really scary... She also said that since oresama danshi are the type who are rude, dominant, narcicist.. and not to mention, doS.. so having a relationship with that kind of guy can lead to violence. Yikes!
with that said, She provide a psychological testing checklist for the girls to know who's more likely to date a dangerous type of guy... All the girls in the studio including Mitsura-san and fudanjuku memebers.

less than 3 checks - Sera and Kariyase-san
4-6 checks - Mitsura-san, Ishigami, Seimyoji and Aiba-san
7-8 checks - Arisu, Kaho, Momo, Yumi and Setou-san
According to the test, those who get less than 3 checks believes that oresama danshi only exist in manga and anime. There's only 20% chance that they can fall for a dangerous type of oresama danshi.
Meanwhile, Those who got 4-6 checks are attracted to oresama danshi type of characters in manga and want to meet someone in real life. They have 70% chance of falling for a dangerous type of guy.
Then those who got 7 and more checks are those who are most likely to fall for a bad type of oresama danshi. This mean that they can get swayed easily by a wrong guy and it can be dangerous for them.
Setou-san who got 7 checks feel so embarrassed and it was cut how she was hiding her face behind the board. π

To those who got 7-8 checks who have high risks of falling in love for a dangerous type of guy, Tsukakoshi-san's advice for them is to not depend on others and should do things on their own... with this, They can have more self confidence and this could lower the risk of them falling for a bad guy.
But what do boys really think of about Oresama danshi??? R's "Kanchigai Oresama Danshi" Ren and Takkun did a street interview to Teenage boys to know what's their opinion about it.
During the interview, There were boys who answered that they want to be Oresama danshi because they find them cool and straight forward. But there are also boys who doesn't believe that manga like Oresama danshi exist in real life.
There's also a guy who said that even if he's mad with his girlfriend, he can't say something so mean to her ...

But to those who still like Oresama danshi or wanted to be like one, Tsukakoshi-san said that there is actually a way to be a great oresama danshi... and that is to be -- 80% kind and 20% rude.
To know if this advice will work, They challenged the R's danshi to say an Oresama line
and they should apply the 80-20 rule while saying it...
The situation will be, On a valentine's day, A girl gave them a chocolate.

I also doesn't believe that there are oresama danshi exists in real world... and if there's one, They are those who have high level of self confidence and not those romantic type of oresama characters in manga and anime.
Regarding this, They interviewed a Psychologist, Dr. Tsukakoshi Tomoo about oresama danshi and she said that.....
"In real world, Oresama danshi like characters in manga doesn't exist...."

She also said that, in manga and anime world.. "kabedon" and "agokui" scenes can make the girls hurt flutter.. but in real life, if a guy does that it can be really scary... She also said that since oresama danshi are the type who are rude, dominant, narcicist.. and not to mention, doS.. so having a relationship with that kind of guy can lead to violence. Yikes!
with that said, She provide a psychological testing checklist for the girls to know who's more likely to date a dangerous type of guy... All the girls in the studio including Mitsura-san and fudanjuku memebers.

less than 3 checks - Sera and Kariyase-san
4-6 checks - Mitsura-san, Ishigami, Seimyoji and Aiba-san
7-8 checks - Arisu, Kaho, Momo, Yumi and Setou-san
According to the test, those who get less than 3 checks believes that oresama danshi only exist in manga and anime. There's only 20% chance that they can fall for a dangerous type of oresama danshi.
Meanwhile, Those who got 4-6 checks are attracted to oresama danshi type of characters in manga and want to meet someone in real life. They have 70% chance of falling for a dangerous type of guy.
Then those who got 7 and more checks are those who are most likely to fall for a bad type of oresama danshi. This mean that they can get swayed easily by a wrong guy and it can be dangerous for them.
Setou-san who got 7 checks feel so embarrassed and it was cut how she was hiding her face behind the board. π

To those who got 7-8 checks who have high risks of falling in love for a dangerous type of guy, Tsukakoshi-san's advice for them is to not depend on others and should do things on their own... with this, They can have more self confidence and this could lower the risk of them falling for a bad guy.
But what do boys really think of about Oresama danshi??? R's "Kanchigai Oresama Danshi" Ren and Takkun did a street interview to Teenage boys to know what's their opinion about it.
During the interview, There were boys who answered that they want to be Oresama danshi because they find them cool and straight forward. But there are also boys who doesn't believe that manga like Oresama danshi exist in real life.
There's also a guy who said that even if he's mad with his girlfriend, he can't say something so mean to her ...

Maybe that's why there really are no Manga like Oresama danshi in real life... Because in reality, It's just either a violent guy or a guy who is scared to his girlfriend.... π
But to those who still like Oresama danshi or wanted to be like one, Tsukakoshi-san said that there is actually a way to be a great oresama danshi... and that is to be -- 80% kind and 20% rude.
To know if this advice will work, They challenged the R's danshi to say an Oresama line
and they should apply the 80-20 rule while saying it...
