DOYORU NO GOTOUCHIMON QUEST (2) 2016.01.23 Episode review
Previously on Gotouchimon Quest: Josei Team (KamiShige and guest, Honkon-san), who picks up girls on the street but to only ask them about how many times have they been in a relationship, drove 60 kilometers from Osaka. Shusshin-chi Team (Hamachan and Ryusei), were sent to a place two thousand kilometers away from their final spot and Okane team (Junta, Akito and Kotaki) who asks for people's money on the street but to only count them, drove 34 kilometers and is still in Osaka.
at the end of the last episode, we were left off with Okane team at their first pit stop which is in a cafe in Takatsuki-shi were they ate udon gyoza. After eating, they checked out how the other teams are doing and they were alarmed when they found out that the Josei team is now in Kyoto, heading to Shiga-ken, and is currently the leading team on the race.
They went to a shopping mall near by where they met a guy who is about to go shopping for some New year's gift.. He agreed to them when they asked him if they could count all money he has on his wallet.
He has four 1000¥ and five 10,000¥ so all in all, he got 54,000¥ (24,834 Php, 512 usd) which is equals to 54 kilometer drive!
Meanwhile, the leading team - Josei Team is still in the car, driving while talking to each other. Honkon-san told them stories about the comedians he had worked with like ni chome (?) and Downtown.. Downtown is that comedy duo that is very famous in Japan. They were the main host of the show Gakki no Tsukai ya Arahende!! (a very funny show!).. They were also known in Jpop community because they hosted a music show called Hey! Hey! Hey!.. Honkon-san told them about the downtown duo and how amazing they are.
Then finally, They have reached the 60 kilometers limit drive. So they stopped by and they thanked the staff and everyone who accompany them for the whole 60 kilometers drive.. Shige was like, "Thanks Honkon-san for working hard seating in the middle seat. Your butt hurts right?"..😁
For their first pit stop, They went to a restaurant in Kyoto, Shiga-ken that sells omi-chanpon. I'm not really sure what's the difference between chanpon and ramen, But i think, chanpon have more vegetables and less noddles...(?)
Shige: This is so good! It taste different than those from Osaka!
While they were enjoying eating the Omi chanpon, Okane team was stucked in traffic! 😬
Kotaki: nandeyanen?
Then back to Josei team, they're done eating and are preparing to go back to business but there is no people around...
Then Kamichan was like, "But there are cars around so there maybe some people here..." Then while looking around, Honkon-san suddenly saw a woman from afar then they ran towards her.. Kamishige ran fast that they leave the poor Honkon-san behind.. Unfortunately, the woman is in a hurrry and declined to be interviewed 😶
Honkon-san was like, "You guys are so fast.. It's so nice to be young"... Well, yeah. Honkon-san is not as fast as the other two but he has a good eye sight! Because he can immediately spot people from afar. They were talking about it and Shige even told him that he must have a wide field of vision. Then suddenly again.. Honkon-san went like... "There's a woman there.." then they ran again to approach her.
They interviewed a 39 years old mom. She is with her daughter and she knows "Shigeoka-kun..." 🙂
They told her about the race and she agreed to help them.. They gave them 5 punches (meaning, she's been in a relationship 5 times) and 5 punches is equal to 50 kilometer drive.. not farther than the last time they've got but still good.
After the fifth punch, she looked like she will punch again but she didn't and Shige is like..
They got back to their car and this time... Shige is in charge of driving!
Honkon-san: I'm scared now that you're the one driving...

While Okane and Josei team are getting nearer to Chiba, The two idiots Shusshin-chi team have arrived to Okinawa! and they aren't wearing their winter coats anymore! For their first pit stop, They have to go to a restaurant in Okinawa that sells "Rafute chahan"
even though they are currently in the last place in the race, they were so happy that they can eat Okinawan cuisine. 😃
and were excitedly talking about it inside the car.
Ryusei: I'm so excited to eat Okinawan cuisine!
Hamachan: Let's eat other foods..
Ryusei: not just Rafutechahan? Yeah. I definitely want to eat somen chanpuru.
Hamachan: Let's eat it!
Ryusei: It would be a waste if we won't eat it since we're here now!
Hamachan: How nice.. Kiriyama-san will get angry for this.
Ryusei: My tension is max!
In the restaurant, They ordered Rafute chahan, umibudou and somen chanpuru.
Rafute chahan - Fried rice with braised pork, boiled with sweet and spicy seasoning...

Somen chanpuru! - an Okinawan stir fried noodles with lots of vegetables!
Wow! Hamachan and Ryusei definitely had their YOLO moment this time.. and it seems that they don't care about winning the race anymore... Plus, their reactions, especially Hamachan's everytime their orders came and when they finally eat it, is PRICELESS.
Ryusei: I'm so happy...
Inside Josei team's car... Honkon-san suddenly become an MC of a talking show.
Honkon-san: For the next corner, we're going to talk about... What is Johnny's WEST dream/future goals..
First, Let's hear Nakama..
Shige: There is no Nakama here... 😁
Honkon-san: Well then.. Hamada?.. Fujie?

Honkon-san: Okay then, Let's hear juubako.
Shige: Is there even someone with a surname like that?
Honkon-san: But you have the same kanji right?
Shige: Yes.. But it's Shigeoka!
Honkon-san: All right then, Shigeoka.. say it..
Shige: It is my dream to have a dome concert. Like in Kyocera dome or Tokyo dome..
Honkon: Didn't you had a dome concert in Osaka?
Shige: It's in Osaka-jo hall.
Honkon: ah.. In an arena. What's the difference between dome and arena?
Kamichan: Arena's capacity is up to 10,000 while dome is 50,000..
Shige: I had a chance to perform in dome during kanjani8's concert... since then, i thought... someday, I want to have my own concert there..
It feels good... Because when you said a joke, There will be 50,000 people laughing.
This show was filmed around December of 2015 and little did he know, after a year.. his dream to have a concert in dome will came true! 😊 (Johnny's WEST 1st Dome LIVE ♡ 24 (Nishi) Kara Kansha 🎄 Todokemasu ♡)
Honkon-san: How about you, Kami?
Kamichan: All this time, We've benn doing shows that can be only aired in Kansai region. My dream is to have a show that can be aired all over the nation.
and now they have Papa Jani WEST on TBS 😊
It just makes me so happy that both goals they have said here came true!
Meanwhile, Okane Team have finally made it past the Traffic Jam! and they were talking about how the Josei team is leading because they have Honkon-san.
Junta: But here in our team, We had an asadora (morning drama) actor!
Kotaki: It's a different scale than Honkon-san! Many people have been asking to shake hands only for Kiriyama-san.
Akito: Even old people wants to shake hands with me.
Junta: Grandads and grandmas...
Then Akito told them about his co-actors in the drama. He said Tamaki Hiroshi is mischievous and likes to play pranks on set and Haru likes to eat yakiniku a lot...
Meanwhile, After eating, Shusshin-chi team laid out their plans while walking...
1. The person must be speaking standard japanese (not speaking in any dialect)
2. Must like Disneyland (or have been to Disneyland many times)
3. ask them where did they go during their school trip.
It was all Ryusei's idea and Hamachan was just nodding and smiling at the side, agreeing to everything especially the school trip part..
While walking, two girls walked past them, looked back, waves at Ryusei then said... "kakoiiii" same ghorl. same.
Shusshin-chi team walked towards them and asked for an interview.
Ryusei: Is Okinawa your hometown?
Girls: Both of us are from here..
DUN DUN DUN DUN Duuuuuuun.
Then Hamachan was like.. "Okay, Ryusei... need to take out that thing inside your pocket.." Ryusei touched his pocket and like.. "hmmm. no, i don't have it.." But hamachan took it out of his pocket instead..
The girls asked them if they did something wrong, Hamachan said no then they asked the girls to say "seno.."(ready...) together...
Girls: Se~nooo!
