Last weekend I found a perfectly marvelous gentleman's sweater (likely it's technically a "jumper") in cream colored lambswool from Pringle of Scotland at the St. Vincent's thrift store.  It only cost $3!  (I'll post a photo when I get home -- it's happily drying on my floor.)

At least I keep saying that.  And I sorta believe it.  The Modular Tomten sweater is going OK, but I've been distracted.  Yeah, I know -- shocking.

It took about five tries, but I've finally got a sleeve that I like and now I have to match it on the other side.  The biggest problem is that I've discovered that garter stitch takes up even more yarn ( Read more... )
