Ian LOVES his MacBook and scarcely has been parted from it since he got it two months ago. I hope you will be equally happy. Good for you for forestalling the inevitable death of your Dell. Our Dell desktop is dying, but Ian decided to use his student privileges to get us a new family laptop for Christmas which we'll connect to the printer. Fiona is going to flip out with happiness at Christmas since she's been stuck with the clunker all this time!

I'll be shocked if I don't love it!

The portability factor alone makes me squee. Then there's the WiFi capability, the fact it can run PC software, its nifty aluminum casing . . . It's like I'm in the 21st century at last.
