the true meaning of Awesome-tastic
My birtday was amazingly wonderful. My parents spoiled me. WHich I don't quite know how to react to. I'm shocked. I know it is partly 'moving out' gifts, but still... I passed over into 'spoiled single child' land. It's nice, but a bit wacky. They also took me to Confusion Corner Bar & Grill. Which was more upscale than expected, and had very good food to boot. I also had a martini.
Then afterwards we get into the truly wonderful bits - my friends. I have great friends, who went out of their way to make time for me on my birthday and that in of itself just made my day. Add on top of that a cake(!), awesome giftses (including 2 gaiman books I have been drooling over for some time... one of which shall soon be 'passed on' :D ), a hilarious new game (I'm all about the gaming. Apples to apples is hilarity in card form), cute ratties, and of course, free booze.
You all rock.
Oh. And add on top of that a yummy brunch the next day!
I'm just absolutely flying. Full of positive inspired-ness, and loving it. So, to everyone who helped make my B-day: Thanks again. And I'm wishing the same wonderful fun back on you!
