My computer also being my prime source of music has affected my life a lot as has the wireless router my dad got at home. When ever my computer is on, which it almost always is at my desk or home so that I have tunes I am on the internet. I am fighting a bit of an internet addiction right now. I don't want to mark... so I hit refresh almost every 10 mins to see if anything has changed on my friends list/ various forums/ news/ etc...
There was a show on the Discovery Channel about how StarTrek changed the world. The one example which struck home was one episode where Data has the music of 4 composers playing simultaniously on the ship computer. Doesn't seem like much now but then you couldn't fit a song onto a harddrive practically... so Quicktime was invented because "wouldn't it be cool to be able to call up any song you wanted on a computer and have it play?'
