Thanksgiving continued.....

Anywho...back to the day after Thanksgiving....Kelly and I spent the bulk of our time at our brand spanking new Kohls....Gawd, I love that store!! We got a lot of great deals so that made our shopping day worthwhile. And, it was pretty nice to have some time alone. When we got back we went to the park for a while, and basically just had some well deserved family time. We ordered pizza for dinner that night. Uncle J, Lynn, and Hailie left on Fri night. We watched War of the Worlds w/my parents. Hot dog, that was an excellent movie! I had no idea I would like it that much. I'm typically not that into sci fi movies. Oh....my dad bought us that movie as well as The Polar Express, which, sadly, we haven't watched yet! Dad left on Saturday to go down to Uncle J's place in Palm Beach Gardens. Mom stayed here w/us because it was her birthday and there was no way in hell she wasn't going to be spending it with her daughter...moi! We had a fantastic day. Kelly and I gave her multiple little gifts, but her big gift from me was a beautiful white gold ring with a nice opal in the middle flanked by two nice sized pink saphires. She LOVED it! Opal is Kaelyn's birthstone so it's very important to us! I can't wait to get my own opal ring! We took her out to dinner to The Lobster Shanty, which is our favorite seafood restaraunt. It is supreme! It's located right on the river and the food is spectacular. Of course we all enjoyed herself. Oh, and since Andi didn't have to work, she came along too. Andi had Daniel come over to meet my parents. She was very excited that her grandparents were getting the chance to meet her boyfriend. He is becoming a regular fixture at our house anyways. Thank goodness he's a great kid. I still think it's hysterical that him, all his friends, and all the boys Andi works with constantly tell her that she's got a MILF for a mom. She really likes it that everyone thinks her mommy is hot! LOL!! Kelly, well, he's not so thrilled about his wife being known as a MILF. But, I guess I can't really blame him!! On Sunday Mom, Kelly, Kaelyn and I went over to Orlando. We went to The Home Depot Expo center where Mom got us a new chandelier for xmas. It is silver and crystal. It is absolutely stunning and I love, love, love it! Although it should be for $800!! They spoil us so much! And, mom just told me she is saving up to buy us a brand new IMAC next year. We will be getting the IMAC G5 w/the 20 inch screen...yay!

On Monday Kaelyn had school and I got to go to the gym for a little while. My poor gym days have been getting shorter and shorter w/company being here! Then mom and I went up to pick Kaelyn up then we headed down to Palm Beach Gardens. We stayed there til Saturday. It was fun. We went out to dinner and just spent time w/family. I love my family and I'm so happy we don't ever have to worry about having a white trash holiday. No outbursts or craziness in this family...lol! We all came back on Sat in time for mom and dad to head back to NJ. Boo hoo....we miss them so much! Just another year or two and they will be down here permanently...yippee!!

On Sunday our family went to The Magic Kingdom to be a part of the ABC Disney Xmas parade. Kelly had to wear his blues and got to march in an armed forces parade. And, we got to see Lonestar perform as well. That was great. We will definately be on tv on Xmas day so make sure ya watch for us!! I was two people away from the lead singer and I was cracking jokes. He smiled and laughed at my jokes. That was pretty cute. We spent the rest of the day in the park. We purchased our annual passes around Kaelyn's birthday and we've been using them constantly. Kelly and I have been to MGM and The Magic Kingdom. We have so much fun whenever we go! Then last week.....hmmmmmm.....nothing too spectacular happened. I went on a few playdates w/Kaelyn and that was fun. Friday night we decorated our new 9 foot Xmas tree. Andi didn't have to work so we got to do it as a family. We would have waited til she had a night off anyways....just to do it as a family. That was a lot of fun. We didnt' even decorate our tree last year since all we had was our little 5 foot fake tree. This year we bought our big beautiful Xmas tree.....so we had to decorate it. And, while we were in PBG Kelly decorated the outside of the house. He is so great w/the Xmas lights! He's like a little kid and gets a kick out of it! On Saturday we took Kaelyn to one of her little friends birthday parties. We all had a great time! Then on Sunday we went back up to Orlando to p/u the chandelier and to take Kaelyn to get her Xmas photo w/Santa done at The Mall at Millenia. Unfortunately we had to wait in line for 2 hours! But, Kae was already in her fancy Xmas dress (bought for her by her Mimi) so there was no way we could tell her we weren't going. And, we were supposed to go to MGM to see the lights but sadly Kelly forgot our Disney passes. Oh well. We went out to eat at this yummy place called Mimi's right across from the mall. It's New Orleans style food. It was fantastic. And, after that we did a little more Xmas shopping at the outlet mall. We didn't get home til after 10 and luckily Kae had passed out in the car.

Sooooooooooo.....that's my big update. Ultimately we had a wonderful Thanksgiving and we've been having a great time ever since Kelly got back. Did I mention how much I love my husband? And what a great husband and Daddy he is...well, he is the best. I couldn't ask for better, and I was so thankful for my wonderful family on Thanksgiving. Then again, I am thankful for them every day!
