Kristoph wasn't sure what he should think of the building.
Though normally Kristoph would have objected to using Wright's apartment as a meeting place - there was an odd clash caused by discussing business in a place so informal, for one thing; apartments were ridiculously personal spaces, for another - there really was no other place for them to discuss the case at that point; bluntly put, it wasn't a good idea for Wright to be moving around very much after having just been released. Their meeting place, then, was more a result of necessity than desire, at least on Kristoph's part - and honestly, he wouldn't be surprised if Wright agreed with him on at least some level.
Kristoph had called Wright ahead of time, both to verify that the time would be convenient and to ask for an address; now that he was standing in front of the building with an attaché case at his side and various unpleasant thoughts dealing with his last encounter with Wright surfacing in his mind, he found himself reluctant to enter. There was just something unsettling about the whole thing; he paused before entering the apartment complex itself, taking a moment to collect himself and look the place over as he did so.
Money had never been an issue for Kristoph, and he generally accepted only the finest in all things for himself; this was reflected in both his offices and the apartment he was renting in an incredibly upscale area, both of which he was affording without using money from the trust fund set up by his parents upon his departure - the long hours he put in were clearly not in vain. The area here, on the other hand, wasn't horrible by any stretch of the imagination - nor had Kristoph expected it to be. At the same time, however, it was rather far removed from Park LaBrea and Kristoph's own apartment in one of the Towers. But the place was pleasant enough, and he supposed it could be considered to have some sort of charm to it.
He shook his head slightly and entered the complex.
The apartment itself wasn't too difficult to find; he looked down and double-checked the apartment number he had written down on a small slip of paper, then slipped the address back into his pocket. He pressed the button to ring the doorbell, any hesitation or nerves he was feeling regarding this meeting completely absent from his features as he waited for a response from inside.
