"I'm here now to point out that I've been avoiding almost all contact with people who know me. Why? I'm not sure yet. I really need to scrape off the layers of habits I've accumulated over the months, maybe even years. Severing contact with people I know seems like the first step: stop all incoming sources. Next, remove what you have. Lastly, touch up your core and prepare for new incoming traits."

---Sometimes revisting the past can be a worthwhile event, especially in regards to friendships that seem to be more dusty memories then any recent occurances. Perhaps there is fruit left on this old tree yet, but you wont know unless you actually look. After all, you may not actually "know" the people you know any longer.

You Can't Visit The Past fixxxer666 February 24 2006, 08:08:58 UTC
You're right, I don't think I "know" anyone I used to anymore. Too much time has passed, too many events that have wedged people apart. But that doesn't bother me; I like catching up and bridging gaps. I need to prevent other 'things' from infringing on me, and I think that's a separate act than interacting with old friends. Unfortunately, it's too risky to try one and avoid the other, at least in my vulnerable state. Soon enough though, I'll be out there again.
