in my entire five years of being a fangirl, i have came across my fair share of fanfiction. some extremely good, some downright nasty, some that really touched my heart, and some that just sounded like it was an excerpt of the kama sutra (don't even ask).
but nothing really got to me like this story. i finished it within two sittings, and when I got to the last few chapters I just bawled like a baby. i highly recommend everyone to read it - although the characters are, well, korean and the setting is in korea, that's just basically it. no fandom relations, no kpop idols............just like an average novel, so don't be deterred by the fact that it's classified as fanfiction. the quality of the writing is amazing stuff - publish-worthy. storyline is anything but predictable and characterization is so realistic (which is also extremely terrible because i am swooning over a fictional character called jaewon). i can go on and on and wax lyrical about this story but i guess you get the gist of it (i hope). a good read to start the year with!
