SEATTLE PICTURES

So, here's the first part of my trip to Seattle. The other half will come when we're done the other half.

Warning: Very image heavy!

This half includes PAX, xsavedbygracex, Rooster Teeth, food, animals, and

This is my first picture of the trip (which is weird considering this was the 3rd day of it). This is Benaroya Hall where the main theatre of PAX was.

The opening keynote for PAX!

Gabe and Tycho during the first Q&A! They are hilarious guys. I wish I kept up with PA more often.

Rooster Teeth setting up for their panel.

Gus figuring everything out on his laptop while Joel is mesmerized by something.

The worst picture ever but shows how close to the stage we were.

This is Monty, Burnie, and Geoff. We swear Monty never opens his eyes. I swear Geoff is even hotter in person.

At the convention center this lovely thing was waiting for us. So excited for Reach. (We have the chance to go to the official launch event but we have tickets for the Red Sox/Mariners game that same night and xsavedbygracex would die if we didn't go and that would not be a good predicament.)

Why was this at the expo? I have no idea. I think there was some LOTR/D&D MMO thing? It's awesome, though.

This is also freakin' sweet.

We also spent some time at the RT booth.

Me just creeping and trying to get pictures of Geoff.

There was also this monstrosity. The PAX Late Show was horrific. I'm waiting for it to show up online so I can relive Geoff's drunkness and the awkward hilarity.

Saturday morning we got up extremely early for the Bungie panel.

We managed to snag front row seats right now to a fellow Edmontonian! Woo!

This sweet ass Tron bike was also at the expo. So nice.

Lunch break at the delicious Cheesecake Factory! Their alfredo rivals Chianti's and if you've ever been to Chianti's you know how epic their alfredo is.

Saturday night was the concert!

But first it was Omegathon!

Jonathan Coulton and Paul & Storm tearing up the stage! Such an awesome show!

On Sunday, with not a lot left to do, we waited in line for Portal 2.

So sweet. I can't wait for this game to come out.

On Monday we went to the EMP (Experience Music Project).

And the SFM (Science Fiction Museum).

Yesterday, we went down to Pike Place and the Seattle Aquarium where we saw tons of these guys.

I just like this because it kinda looks like it could be a double exposure (if you couldn't see my obvious camera phone lol).

Octopus!

Shark!

We also stumbled across the original Starbucks. (xsavedbygracex litterally went "Oh, look, there's the original Starbucks" and I went "Oh, wow, would you look at that, there it is.")

Ngl, we got coffee there. And had a nice chat with the barista. And I got a mug to match my other one.

We also literally stumbled across the gum wall.

So disgusting.

So, naturally, we had to stick a piece of our own on their. Mine's the big white chunk.

xsavedbygracex sticking her piece on the wall.

Stopped for lunch at The Cheescake Factory. That is the small salad. We're curious as to how big the large is.

We made our way to Seattle Tattoo Emporium, one of the longest running tattoos in the states. This is xsavedbygracex 's tattoo.

The tattoo artist, Kenneth, starting on me. (This is a rare photo of me getting tattooed. I think there may be one or two from my dinosaur. I hate pictures of me, especially ones of me when I'm vulnerable and have no control over the situation.)

My tattoo done and finished. It was my most painful tattoo. I'm sure my dinosaur hurt just as bad but this is way fresher in my mind. (Holy shit, I've had my dino for 3 years. Crazy.)

And that's it so far!
