Working at the Strand has been a lot better recently. I just have to avoid one of my managers, Joyce, who is a huge bitch. She's old and crotchety. Not that old. Like, fifty, fifty five, say. But she looks bad. I bet she has no family. I bet she only has a little yappy dog that she yells at when she's mad about how lonely and sucky her life

i went to that same concert a while ago! i almost enjoyed willie nelson more just because all the fat old people started slow dancing to his hillbilly music. it was pretty amusing...but also when i actually got your call all i could hear was like these bizarre twangs and crashes. i think i even told antonia that night that it sounded like you were at some new-age electronica festival. heh.
