Of a wonderful weekend

It was really fun.. first a little something about my dad. He's turning metro! He uses my handcreams, he uses my essential oils (he bought a burner for himself!), and... he goes shopping with me for jewellery! Metro.. I love shopping with my dad caz i realized on Saturday that..

1. He has good taste (for a...guy...)
2. He shops fast and doesn't dither over how the cloth / crystal was not worth the money on the price tag, etc
3. He carries my stuff (unfortunately he draws the line at the bag)
4. He is fun to hang out with

I mean, so is my mom re 4.. but the shopping experience.. is really cool with the dad.

After that it was mooncake festival at lao ban's.. really had lots of fun at her place, doing up the deco (well Jamie did most of the deco.. she was really worker bee, she brought THREE pomelos and did the deco too... xin ku le!) and talking crap -- with elder yeo / doreen of all people! cannot conceive right..but they are also really cool. and crap is always good to do anytime, anywhere and with everyone!

Sunday was Joy's surprise birthday party - well it was actually less a surprise for her, than it was for siming (MP).. it was something like.. YAY happy bd joy!! cut cake !! wait it's also siming's bd! siming..come out and cut the cake! haha..afterthought, much? but nah the gals actually bought him a pink shirt for his hot date later that day. which sparked off a whole tangent of conversation about guys and girls who like choosing pink stuff for guys. Then it was off to Ajisen for food (Auntie Zijing was off to pick balls with Johan and thus couldn't join).. Siming ended up once again being the ..thorn? among us roses wahahha. was fun though. met up with Pastor v later for a bit more crap, right in the birdshit-infested open air carpark.. we were there so long i was pretty surprised we didnt get shat on.. so that's always good.

Then on to a bit of last shopping with Gracejoy before we called it a week. pretty nice, the weekend was. Now if the govt could only implement a 3-day weekend...
