I'm posting fic tonight. Little drabble/ficletty things for people, or more specifically acaciaonnastik and leiascully.

Mmmmmmmmm. See, you get right at what's so interesting about the pairing, (which is also the reason I suspect the reason there isn't more fic about them is because she doesn't have a penis, which makes me sad, but that's a whole other story) and, dammit, it's beautiful.

The doomed het romances don't seem to get much love, whereas the slash doomed ones get all the attention, yeah. But that's always the fandom paradox, I feel. Even when Mo/Eden and Hiro/Charlie are more canon than hmm, a lot of ships. Limited timeslot shouldn't be a problem when you look at Mylar but yeah, I guess the fic opportunities are otherwise limited, too, even though they are interesting.

I totally have a thing for het couples riddled with problems to do with honesty (especially if they're still at the relationship-stage and not the marriage-state where I feel honesty should be there). Denial of feelings, seeing through lies, all that stuff really fascinates me in fic for some reason.

If I can ever get past the meeting with Hiro, I'm planning on making the trust/honesty thing a major part of Brown-Eyed Daughter. Not just with Mohinder, either... though his situation is much uglier, because he's not over Sylar's betrayal. Or, you know, the torture. And I kind of wish now that I were any good at sexually explicit writing, because research has turned up the detail that torture victims often suffer sexual dysfunction, and I'm just the kind of person that would actually want to explore that.

...that's not TMI, is it?

Yeah, Mohinder/Eden would be even more messed up in that AU situation. Though deliciously so.

Speaking of fic woes re: porniness, I totally wrote myself into a corner in an awesome fic idea for Mylar but then I realized they have to sex it up and I can't write it. Gahhh.

In my head, I'm really only managing to get it into a place that's... call it "cause for guarded optimism". But there is some ugliness to go through first- at one stage, if I can manage it, he'll basically be trying to bait her into using her power on him. And Eden's just thinking "BRING ME THE HEAD OF GABRIEL GRAY."

Oh, doesn't it suck when that happens? Maybe you could find a cowriter to do the sex scene for you? Not that that would help me with the ED fic, as the whole thing basically is a sex scene. But still.

Writing Sylar is always so trippy for me. I can't quite get my head around the words that he would sy.

I know, a co-writer is an option. But if it's porn, it should be porn my way. Which makes it even more difficult.
