Other things I don't understand: how every time I sit down to think about the stories I want to work on right now (namely, the Kate/Renee I started for femslash10 and some GG stuff) I end up writing snippets of DCU/Disney, instead. Because, you know, now there's two fandoms that overlap.
I guess I should be happy I'm at least managing to get stuff out, even if they don't necessarily make sense lol. Ridic, I am.
It's almost Fun Elections Time! again. You know, what's amazing about it is that I figure people know I do not, in fact, work for the government (and that, IDK, Shirley Manson decides who does or doesn't get to work at the election.) Still, it's like the minute you sit behind that desk, it's your fault people have to get out of their houses to vote, or that politicians X and Y suck, or that somebody's wife doesn't like them. I DIDN'T WRITE THE LAWS.
Speaking of things that happen when I'm offline, a girl in one of my classes was talking about how she came up with an RPG to teach the Industrial Revolution and it was a positive experience, etc. Obviously she needs to marry me. But while that doesn't happen, it's kind of hilarious how nine years ago I remember one of my teachers being super concerned that role-playing would fuck up our personalities and leave us ~disturbed. Ha!
I completely forgot that lotsbigbang was happening! I still have to check the stories (there is something about Seeker/Disney fic that makes me wanna die keep scrolling-scrolling-scrolling-scrolling, YEAH) but hearing about the ficathon just made me really miss the show, all of a sudden.
