Thanks to summer, I've been able to digest more than my normal healthy amount of television, and the side-effects are little mini-rants like these, because television does nothing but remind me of how stupid people are. Example:
I've recently noticed that there are TONS of commercials for pregnancy tests. I guess they're the "in thing" for summer, but anyway.. Yeah. There's a dozen of them, at least, and they all claim to not only be more accurate, but to be 'easier to read.'
Whaaaat is so hard about this, people?
It used to be a simple changing-color system, but that proved to be too advanced, apparently. Now they have a test with a 'digital readout' that will say on its little stick, 'Pregnant' and 'Not Pregnant'. What, was the old + and - system too cryptic, or something? Pretty soon they'll have to make it even plainer, and I don't know what they'll have left to stoop to. I can dream, though.

"Sorry, not a winner. Please play again!"
I suggest a new and improved Magic 8-Ball, Pregnancy Test Edition.
