- good public transportation
- Mennonite population → Mennonite bakery and farm → cheap and delicious produce and baked goods
- nice, urban loft-style apartments for cheap
- beautiful city park
- clean, good public library
- museums I could visit over and over again
- Asian population → bubble tea, KFROYO, more pull for David to come with
- hipsters → people I went to high school with
- clubs that have quiet sections for chatting
- coffee shops that do decent open mic nights
- a good café to fall in love with á la La Dolce Vita
