No carbs after 5pm

Hit the gym at 7am.... was raring to go...went for it on the treadmill and did some strength work on the powerplates.... then I went to a new class that Virgin have started - The Roxy Beach Body Workout!! I enjoyed it - it was tough and I could feel it working my core!! http://www.virginactive.co.uk/Content/Roxy/

Spent an hour this morning shifting wood!!

My Eats

Breakfast : soaked overnight oats with blueberries
Lunch : tomatoes on toast
Snacks : 1 soya yoghurt, 2 nectarines, 1 grapefruit
Dinner: Cottage Cheese Salad and tomato soup , ww mousse

Total WW points today = 14
to bank =4
therefore 7.5 points banked so far this week
Activity points = 2

I am not having carbs after 5pm!!
Apparently according to Joanna Hall the benfits of doing this are

Lose off the inches
  • Lowers blood pressure and cholesterol
  • Improves sleep
  • Increases energy levels by a large extent
  • Reduces bloating - Excess Carbs taken during the evening generally leave you feeling bloated. Try to understand it in this way, on the intake of a bowl of pasta, the body requires three bowls of water to convert the starch to glycogen. Any excess glycogen that cannot be burned off will get converted and stored as fat.

but she also recommends drinking 2 glasses of water before every meal.... I must start doing that too
