Day 09 - Best scene ever
Been sat staring at the screen trying to decide on one for this. I just can't. So there will be some from numerous shows.
Firefly - I've got it down to two, which I'm proud of. First, Wash and the Dinosaurs in Serenity (pilot) "Curse your sudden, but inevitable betrayal" and all that. Secondly, the big rescue scene at the end of Safe "looks like we turned up just in the nick of time. What does that make us?" "Big Damn Heroes sir." "Ain't we just" (that's from memory, so probably not word perfect. Kinda hope it isn't, because otherwise I am THAT big of a geek!)
Due South - It's got to be near the end of Call of the Wild. With Fraser sr saying goodbye and going off with mummy Fraser. I cry EVERY TIME but yeah, love. Honourable mention for the 'Ride Forever' scene in All The Queen's Horses.
Buffy - the prize giving at the Prom, when Buffy gets her 'school protector' Toy Surprise award. Also in the last episode when all the potential slayers get the power.
Doctor Who - The bit in the staff room in School Reunion, with the Doctor's first encounter with Sarah Jane Smith again. Just lovely.
Space Precinct - There's a scene in the final two parter (actually two) that as a teenage hardcore Castle/Haldane shipper I LOVED. The first is one where she (Castle) is all sarcastic because it looks like Haldane's partner (Brogan) has forgotten his wedding anniversary, and she's all "how soon they forget, even the good ones." and he's all "hey, I remembered BROGAN'S!!" and she's all scoffy, so he lists all these things about her "your favourite food is Altorian pasta, you love the Stardrive ride and Astro-land, and night walks on glow beaches" and it's just SO SWEET! The second is near the end of the episode, Haldane (and Brogan, Orrin and Romek) are helping the "bad guy" and Castle (and Took) have come to arrest them for it. There's a huge stand off between Haldane and Castle and it's just SO SWEET AGAIN (he tells her he loves her). OMG I need to watch this again, I could revoke my geek card, I can't remember it word for word any more!
Blood Ties - The sniffing scene in Necrodrome. Enough said!
