City scavenger hunts are popular right now, it would seem. For my job today, I had to walk for four hours posting informational pamphlets in all the major theatre in the city (and I'm seriously considering amputating my feet) and we kept seeing groups of people on hunts for things.

The weirdest group, however, was a gang of teenagers who were all blindfolded. They were in two lines, each line of kids holding onto a long rope to stay together, and some other kid was leading them willy nilly through the streets. From afar they kind of looked like they were going to be sold or something, the way they were marching and roped. I have no idea what that was about, but I gawked and giggled.

Wow, I never see anything that remotely interesting in DC... but then again, I'm not there every day anymore.

Ooh, maybe you should do an internet search for Ringo and Altoids and see if you come up! :o)

Yeah, when you walk eight blocks to and fro the office each day, these things tend to happen. I did a search...didn't look too extensively, but I assume I'm safe. I may come to eat those words. Time will tell.
