Note to self: stay out of water
Day 3, 4PM. Back at Subway again.
If I lived here, or were staying longer I would go on the Subway diet.
Its so cheap and filling and I sure get my money's worth in the thirst
quenching department.
So I just got back from riding around the island for 4 hours with my
photobag in my bicycle basket (it fits perfectly). I went down Duval
street (its the big street where all the tourists go to) from one side
of the island to the other and visited a couple of the beaches and piers.
I'll upload the pics to pbase whenever I get around to editing them
(arg set wrong white-balance on half of them and they all need a little
photoshop band-aid work for all the dust collecting on the DSLR's CCD.)
Yay, I made a cupholder on my bike with my external mouse wire.

Welp, I'm going home tomorrow, I think I might miss this place a bit :T
I could definetly find work here shooting for brochures, maybe weddings
on a budget, tourist photos, and new media typy stuff. I gots some
connections like the marriage minister and the videographer and building
up reference work. Eh, don't know if I could LIVE here all the time.
It'd be interesting tho.
They have a music dance video channel here that's pretty entertaining.
I leave it on while I work. those dance-y videos are pretty interesting
and some of the music is pretty-catchy, but then I change the channel
when it starts to get too monotonous(sp?) i'll have to download some of
them when i get home though, like new kylie minogue.. thats catchy stuff,
hey everyone has their guilty pleasures :-o
Anywho, yar itll be good to get back home to trusty ol' RIT with its non-humid
weather and non-hard water, and cuddle up with Jen :) Even though i'll
look ridiculous with my farmers tan.
Now to work on that flash project thats due tomorrow for the next 10 hours.
