Had trouble thinking of what to do today, so I defaulted to Lucy, as is my wont.
IT IS A SNEAK PREVIEW.
I'll let y'all in on a little secret: Lucy's current appearance really doesn't last all that long in the actual comic itself. He's 22, he's in the midst of a phase, it's really only three or four stories where he's got the long black emo-goth-whatever hair. After those first few stories he snips it and the blond grows back in. Hair dye is expensive, y'all.
Not my best Lucy drawing (damn what a torso, Lucy's top half and bottom half proportions sooo don't match hahaha), but it has its okay bits. It's a preview of far-off things to come! It feels really weird drawing him like this, despite this being Lucy's general look for a huge chunk of the planned TD comic, 'cos what we're all familiar with is his initial design and how he starts off TD. Since I've been planning TD for like four years now, I've really just been drawing him in 'Start' Mode all that time! ONWARD INTO THE FUTURE.
