Drama drama drama (and a little bit of theatre)
So cast party tonight at my house and I'm already sensing there will be drama. Marc is dividing up the "shares" and getting very detailed about expenses which is pissing off Kevin. And might I say... for someone who "just wanted to direct, nothing else" what he's doing now doesn't fall under his job category. It's the producer's job. And if people get handed envelopes with varying amounts in it, there will be more drama and I will point directly to Marc and say "ask him". Sillyness.
Might not be the way he wants it, but it's the way it was set up at the start, can't change it now that you know better. And the people who don't deserve to be paid will still get paid and just never be worked with again. I have a list from this show. I've learnt from it. From here on in, any non-professional show I'll be asking "so, the other actors... are they actually actors? Are they reliable and professional? Any of these people cast?" It's all you can do.
