Befriending Theatre Types, A Warning
So it was pointed out to us last night at 4am that it must have been a REALLY REALLY bad show if three days later we're still ranting about how we're never getting that hour and a half of hour lives back.
I want some opinions.... If you are watching a show that is pure torture that an acquaintance-kind-of-friend is in, are you required to stay for the whole show?
I know that for my SO, a close relative, or my bestest friend I would stay and I would expect them to stay for a show of mine (not that I would ever be in somethig that terrible and atleast not be able to acknowledge how bad it is), but for other friends that aren't that close? I wouldn't expect them to stay if the show was so bad they felt they had to leave. I would understand.
I don't think she's hurt that I left half way through the show. I think she's hurt that I thought the show was so bad that I had to leave half way through it. She said that wasn't the case, but it is. :P
