Halloween turned out to be a very busy day this year. Not only did I have the normal duties for a week day, but I was on schedule for my bowling league and I was invited to a costume party to top it all off. It occurs to me that I forgot to post last week's bowling night. It is quite possibly due to the fact that I did so abysmally that my denial apparatus went into overdrive to block it all out. I had a pretty good showing last night at bowling. I started by bowling around my average and then two strong games after that (133, 162, 154). With only another night left in the league play, I am grateful and saddened at the same time. Not a stellar night, but neither was it a bad night. I think everyone was having some difficulty adjusting to the lanes which seemed a bit slicker than normal. I am a little disappointed in the third score but I believe I was just getting increasingly distracted about being late to a meeting I had scheduled the same night.
