(this) [Sign-ups for the Shawn'n'Gus fest are up]. Sign-ups are up until the last of the month. Word minimum is 500 words, there's over a month between when the prompts get sent out and when the stories are due (which is excellent for a slow writer like myself). Go sign up! :)
(that) I'm still working my way through the personal-journal posts that I've gotten behind in. You have been prolific (and I'm being a slow reader right now), so that's taking some time (which means I might be commenting on old posts (or I might just read and not comment, who knows!) ).
(and) I have other snowflakes (evidently they were snowflake cookies and not just snowflakes! :D ) that I haven't thanked people for yet. So many thanks to winkingstar, pixiequeen10thk, denyce, and autumn_lilacs!
(the) I was at dinner and we somehow were discussing JKRowlings and how she's richer than the Queen and then we moved on to other JKR trivia. And I've got to say, I had a thorough trouncing at the hands of people who, for the most part, not only have no idea what fandom is but would ridicule me for belonging to it. I'm not sure exactly what this says, but I am amused.
(other) I am tired. This whole 'month of December' thing is exhausting. My Psych rec list is on hold until I can get some spare brain cells up for the job.
