So I've been reading lately (try to hide your surprise) and I keep reading stories that mention doughnuts. I now *really want* a proper doughnut. :( :( Curse you, fiction! *shakes fist at air*
The reasons this is annoying are: (a) It's pre-winter holiday time, so I'm being frugal, and (b) I don't know where to find a proper doughnut here anyway (mostly because I haven't looked, because if I don't know then I can't spend money there), and (c) I don't really have time to learn to make doughnuts myself....
