The loveliness of this post is that I don't have to play by any rules...these aren't the best of the year, what I would vote for if voting were required, or justifiable with logical, precise, analysis that I've crafted througout the year. They are simply MY Top 10 films and Top 5 performances in each category.

I have no doubt that this was the intention of the film - glad you liked it. You should try the book, its has a lot more going on with most of the characters.

we all are - you should see me tear up at pretty much any Vietnam themed war commentary/issue/vetran. its hard to not have emotional strings attached to issues that you care about. :) awesome tho jj
