31 Days of actions...3rd
up early (with the dogs) and hit the Parkway by 7:00 a.m. - drove to Black Balsm Trailhead for hike to Black Balsm Knob and Tennent Mountain. Weather - perfect. Cooler at higher altitudes. Minimal traffic in the a.m.
Dogs were champs! Radley turns into a monster rock climber and only needed a tote near the end of the 2.5 hours. Nola did a little pad damage, but as always she just pushes through. They were wiped on the way home. Heck, we were a little wiped on the way home. We have to get out here to camp some night. Finally see some stars like my days in CA.
