Merlin fandom help needed...
Random question time: Are there any Merlin mobster AU fics? I just am horrible at keeping up with the tons and tons of Merlin/Arthur fanfic out there, and I was just wondering if anything like this exists. As in, Italian mobsters, Soprano-ish type AU. Because uh... I kind of came up with a plot for such a fic and might change my Camelot Solstice fic to this one, but I don't want to write it if something like this already exists, because there are only so many ways that you can turn Merlin into The Pendragonos. Anyway, any links to mobster fics is much appreciated.
In other news, I am slooooowly working my way through Battlestar Galactica. I think I'm through episode 3? And, I just have to say, I am falling in mad, mad love with the Apollo/Roslin relationship. It is just so beautiful and sweet and they believe in each other so thoroughly, and Apollo's best acting comes out of his scenes with Roslin, and just... guh, they are beautiful. They may have made me cry a tiny bit. Also, I am pretty sure that Colonel Tigh is going to be my fandom bicycle, because I seem to ship him with everybody, mostly Starbuck though. But he has tension with pretty much every character and I freaking love that dude. Even though he's an asshole. But he's badass and blustery and deeply flawed, so it is no surprise that I love the old coot. And, the Chief dude that is in love with Boomer? Oh man, I so don't ship him with Boomer. At all. Because he belongs with his girl Cally. Although, I will not lie, Cally is one of the people that I wanted to ship with Tigh (but I want to ship everyone with Tigh, so it doesn't really matter). Also, I think I am warming up to Adama/Roslin. At first I was wondering why they were such a hugely popular ship, but in the third episode they kind of made me a little melty, probably because they are coming together as the parental units of this very large, dysfunctional family, and you know I always gotta ship the quasi parental units.
Speaking of quasi parental units, tonight's episode of NCIS had some lovely Gibbs/Abby interaction. CHEEK KISS! Oh, I love it when he does that.
Also, to Anonymous, if you're going to be a dick to me again in the future, at least have the common decency to bring along a pair of balls with you next time and fucking leave a signed comment. Not that the info wasn't appreciated, just, you know, there are nicer ways of going about saying what you did.
