Meme! And Oscar/Andy nonsense.

Nov 21, 2008 14:02

Okay, my shippage of Oscar/Andy is officially out of control when I see subtext in this deleted scene. THEY WEREN'T EVEN ON CAMERA TOGETHER! But I saw Andy's arms moving in agreement with Oscar. Seriously. I pictured his face looking at Oscar with a huge smile and he was kind of doing a little agreement dance. He totally was. I'm right. Also, I think it's pretty clear that it was Oscar and Andy who drew that picture. They were linked arm in arm and giggling like little schoolgirls in the break room as they worked to get it the exact right shape. Trust me. It's true. Also, it was totally Oscar's idea, Andy just went along with it in order to bro-bond with Oscar.

01. Name a movie that you have seen more than 10 times.
Talladega Nights. I'm actually embarrassed at how much I've watched this movie. I think I watched it 10 times within the first week of renting it.

02. Name a movie that you’ve seen multiple times in the theater.
I pretty much never go to a movie twice because I'm a total cheap skate and my dad would never allow us to go to the same movie twice when we were little because he said it was a waste of money, but I saw The Lion King in the theater the first weekend it came out, and then about a year later or something (it took a LONG time for it to go to video) it came to the cheap theater where they showed the movies that were about to go to video in a couple weeks, and my oldest brother took me to see it again. It was one of his very rare moments of generosity towards me. He made me use all the quarters in my piggy bank to pay for my ticket though. But he drove me, and sat with me, and offered to do this on his own volition. I doubt he even remembers, but that was a pretty big deal for me. And it's the only movie I've seen twice in the theater.

03. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to see a movie.
Robert DeNiro. Always. I've gone to quite a few of his movies.

04. Name an actor that would make you less likely to see a movie.
Ben Affleck.

05. Name a movie that you can quote from.
Anchorman. The Godfather.

06. Name a movie musical that you know all the lyrics to all the songs.
My Fair Lady

07. Name a movie that you have been known to sing along with.
Aladdin.

08. Name a movie that you would recommend everyone see.
Hmm... This is a tough one. I guess I'll go with Little Miss Sunshine, because that movie warms my heart like nothing else, and it's a movie that I really didn't expect to like at all, and came away loving it like crazy.

09. Name a movie that you own.
Goodfellas.

10. Name an actor who launched his/her entertainment career in another medium but who has surprised you with his/her acting chops.
Robin Williams! Hilarious stand-up comedian, adorable TV actor, semi-good comedic actor, AMAZING dramatic actor.

11. Have you ever seen a movie in a drive-in? If so, what?
No.

12. Ever made out in a movie?
No. And, gotta say, do not see the point in this. You miss the movie. Movies totally come before romance for me. Sorry.

13. Name a movie that you keep meaning to see but just haven’t gotten around to it.
The new James Bond movie.

14. Ever walked out of a movie?
Nope. If I spend my money, I'm going to watch the whole damn thing no matter how atrocious it is.

15. Name a movie that made you cry in the theater.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Embarrassing, but true. I had read the book (several times, actually) but it still made me cry.

16. Popcorn?
Sometimes. Again, waste of money, but when I want to treat myself, then I get some. I usually buy a giant box of Junior Mints from the grocery store ahead of time and smuggle them in.

17. How often do you go to the movies (as opposed to renting them or watching them at home)?
Not often. Maybe once or twice a year.

18. What’s the last movie you saw in the theater?
The Dark Knight.

19. What’s your favorite/preferred genre of movie?
In the theater it would be action. In general it would probably be comedy, but it's a toss up between action and comedy. I suppose action comedies are my favorite.

20. What’s the first movie you remember seeing in the theater?
Oliver and Company. &hearts

21. What movie do you wish you had never seen?
The Ring

22. What is the weirdest movie you enjoyed?
Big Fish

23. What is the scariest movie you’ve seen?
I don't like scary movies at all. But I will say that Silence of the Lambs gave me some pretty bad dreams (because of Buffalo Bill, not Hannibal. In fact, in my dreams, Hannibal was my friend. Oh, brain, you're insane).

24. What is the funniest movie you’ve seen?
Anchorman. Or I can go old school and say Airplane.
