OMG, guys... I ACTUALLY ENJOYED MONK TONIGHT! OMG!!!!!!!!!! This episode reminded me why Monk used to be MY show. Seriously. It was freaking hilarious, and Monk was adorable, and Stottlemeyer and Disher had a bunch of scenes that made me laugh like crazy, and Monk doesn't know the difference between 91 and 16 and I know that bit was in the ( Read more... )

Ah, my eyes are weak, obviously. Or I was just too distracted by Damian's pretty hair. Will change it right now! And dude, gotta shoutout when it comes to the Damian pretty. You all make my job so much easier by providing me with pre-made picspams. Now my f-list gets to see so much more pretty.

It was too over the top with the daredevil crap, then that ridiculous speech from Shawn to the daredevil at the end that took an insanely huge amount of time and tried to be OMG DRAMA LOOK SHAWN IS GROWING AS A PERSON but instead was so over-serious that I was cringing and had to fight with myself to not change the channel. Blech.

I have to agree. That part of the show was shoehorned in, too long, and really awkward. I know they keep telling us that Roday can do drama, but I'm just not feeling it at all.

I'm always shocked when I see the comments about how well played the drama was, especially for this episode. Just... no. No good. He's good with the Shawn/Gus serious moments, and the Shawn/Henry serious moments, but last night? It was like he was trying too hard to keep himself from cracking up at the crap dialog. And his scenes with Cybill? Emotionless. Blech. I commend Roday's comedic timing and his awesome ad libs, but he needs some work on selling the drama. That's partly writers/directors/editors too, so I don't fully blame him. But eesh. Blech.

Your film degree was totally worth all that money. That picspam made my entire year. Anytime I feel blue, I will pull up that picspam and go, "Ahahahaha, oh, those two. OMG BEAUTIFUL DAMIAN!!!" Hot Grandpa Hair = Firthgal in Perpetual Swoon. Especially when paired with ripped sleeveless undershirt. *swooooooooon*
