The lost have returned....

Okay, so its been almost a year since the last time that I posted...

Not quite sure why I disappeared for so long, but now that I'm back...just a little bit about what is going on in my life these days.

I joined Weight Watchers in January, and have lost almost 30 pounds. It is certainly a start, although I really want to lose another 50 by June 2007. I have it set in my head that I want to fit in my prom dress for the class of 2008's prom on June 2nd. So that gives me a little less than a year to get my act together and lose 50 pounds. Well 305 days actually. So that averages out to about 1.1 pounds per week...totally doable as long as I manage to stay on the program and not eat everything in sight.

I recently started scrapbooking. I have completed one album and started a second. Andrew and I created an album in memory of his Gramma who passed away in 2003, it was definitely a work of heart. I started working on my wedding album. I think that I was hoping that looking back at those pictures would help with the whole weight loss motivation. It has a bit.

Been spending alot of time playing online games. Mostly City of Heroes...gotta love being a superhero beating on the bad guys. But I also reactivated my Gemstone account, which was somewhat dangerous...really shouldn't have, but I missed the roleplaying thing. Its nice to pretend to be someone else every now and again, escape from the real world and all the troubles it brings.

I'm looking forward to returning to school, at least a bit. I enjoy being home on summer vacation, but I find that I never get done all the things I wanted to. Too many grand ideas and never enough time to finish them all. Thats probably mostly because I would rather enjoy myself than accomplish anything. Gotta learn to get my rear in gear more often, it would be nicer all around.

Well I think that takes care of the big stuff...lots of little things going on, but it would take to long to fill in all the holes...so I will just have to better about writing once a week or so and sharing.
