Happy Post Vier
This one will probably seem a little shallow, but today, before various family members descended on the house, I almost had a day. A nice little self-centered day. I wrapped up some Christmas packages. I watched a Nigella Christmas special on the Food Network with my dad (at once converting him both to Nigella and to the Food Network), and I played an hour of Playstation. Which sounds like nothing, I know. But having not touched the thing in months, this is a Big Deal to me. Playing video games is the kind of thing I can do only when I have no other massive priorities, and, significantly, when nobody else has significant priorities with which I should be helping, or things they want to watch. So, being left to my own devices for a whole hour was sheer bliss.
