Happy Post Trois
It occurs to me that I should be using German numbers, since I'm taking the class and all.
Went shopping with my mum today, which we haven't been able to do in a good long time. Headed down the market, and our last stop was my favourite bookstore, Nicholas Hoare Books. After spending far too much money (read: just enough), all the bells on Earth did ring - well, all right, just the ones in town. Dusk was just beginning to fall, as were big, thoughtful snowflakes. The streetlamps were lit, as were the Christmas lights, which this year are clustered along the very tops of the downtown trees, as if they were just beginning to bud - but with lights instead of with leaves. The bitter cold of the day began to soften, and the snow began to thicken as we emerged. It will be warmer tomorrow.
