Yay for Christmas!
This morning we did the traditional opening of the presents, per usual. The event was accompanied by yummy pastries and egg nog with freshly ground nutmeg sprinkled atop. =o)
I got my dad an Atlas of World War II Battles... which was tres cool. My mom got some chocolates and an inspirational calendarnbased from "The Purpose-Driven Life," which is apparently a great Christian inspirational. I got a DVD player (yes, my very first!) and some nice clothes.
Then my parents broke out an olllld photo album, where I got to see pictures of my late relatives. It's always been a bit of a disappointment having grown up with a very nuclear and isolated family. I think about that a lot. I can see a little of my grandpa in me... he died before i was born. Some of my ancestors werew quite handsome... I suppose those jeans got a few holes in them before they reached me (lol!)
I'm getting hungry now... I suppose some leftover lasagna is in order.
