A little ditty with a melody drifted to me on the summer breeze
So not everything that I do at work is deadly dull. I came across this, which actually involves research that I'd be oddly interested in. Who knows? When beta testing begins, I may actually try it out. And anyway, the research aspect is sponsored in part by the WIDE Center, which is closely affiliated with the program I'd be in, which makes me cautiously optimistic about grad school after all.
Assuming, of course, that I'm accepted.
In not completely unrelated news, I've decided it's time to upgrade my gaming system. That's right, folks: I'm breaking down and buying... a PS2. (Yes, I know the PS3 comes out in November. Shut up. Although, now that I think about it, November's not all that far away...) Anyway. I'll likely go tomorrow at about 4:00, after I get off work and go to the bank, so if anyone has any good suggestions as to where to get one used and/or wants to come with me, drop me a note or, better yet, gimme a call...
Oh, and if anyone wants to loan me any games, that'd also be greatly appreciated...
