In Castiel's mind, Dean is essentially his best friend. He's the first human Cas ever really interacted with, and the one who made Cas start questioning Heaven in the first place. He puts faith in Dean when he can't put faith in God. From where I pulled him, Castiel is happy that Dean has found a family, and hasn't spoken to him in a few months.
Now that Dean's also found himself in Mayfield, Cas is sticking to him like glue. When he's not stuck doing office work, that is.
Sam Winchester
» "You are not taking Sam Winchester. I won't let you."
In many ways it's difficult to tell how Castiel feels about Sam. He himself seems to flip flop on the matter quite a bit, but at the end of the day, Sam is Dean's brother, and he will do whatever it takes to help him. He considers Sam a friend and ally, at the very least.

His "son" according to Mayfield logic. Cas doesn't know much about him yet, but he seems like a good kid. He knows a lot about how Mayfield works, which Cas finds very helpful.

Although at first he was hesitant, seeing as Ai works for Hell, she seems like a nice girl, and she's definitely not a demon. Considering she called her work her "punishment," Cas is willing to be nice to her, although a bit wary.

Ciel was one of the first to help him when he arrived in Mayfield, and also volunteers at the church. This is enough for Cas to consider her an ally, as well as endear her to him. The devout will always earn extra points in Cas's book, and she did offer more information than most people. He'd like to talk with her more; she seems nice.
